Faith Based Mentoring Ministries (FBMM) functions as a transition program for men and women being released from the Indiana Department of Corrections (IDOC) to Allen County IN.  FBMM works with the IDOC as early as possible prior to release to determine the post release needs of each individual participating in our program.  FBMM, in conjunction with the IDOC, will create a transition plan for each participant in our program.  

The main focus of FBMM will be in providing or securing employment, however, the other needs of the individuals being released will also be addressed.  Some, but not all of those needs include transportation, clothing, food, housing, medical care, counseling and mentoring.  The collaboration of partnering agencies will be established to provide as many goods and services as possible.

The goal of the FBMM is to establish a best practices continuum of care for each person being released from IDOC to Allen County IN.  While FBMM will focus on creating and or securing employment opportunities, the establishment of partner agencies to complete the continuum of care will be a high priority of the board of directors and program staff.
